1 pc white onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated 
4 Tbsp corn oil
250 g ground pork
¾ cup Shiitake mushrooms, rehydrated in ½ cup warm water, chopped
1 pack Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce Pinoy Party Style 1kg
pc bay leaf
1 tsp sesame oil
½ tsp hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
¼ tsp salt 
¼ tsp pepper
500 g cooked spaghetti
Garnish with  
1         tsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp adobo peanuts, chopped            
1            Tbsp      spring onion or sibuyas mura, chopped 


  1. Sauté onions, garlic, ginger in corn oil. Add ground pork and shiitake mushrooms. 
  2. When pork is slightly brown, add Hunt's Pinoy Style Spaghetti Sauce, mushroom water (where shiitake was rehydrated) and bay leaf. Simmer for 8 - 10 minutes. 
  3. Add sesame oil, hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. 
  4. Take out bay leaf before tossing in pasta and top with sesame seeds, peanuts and spring onion.
