2 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
1 pc carrot, roughly chopped
2 stalks celery with leaves, roughly chopped
1 pc onion, roughly chopped
cup water
1 can Hunts Pork & Beans 175g
cup elbow macaroni, or broken spaghetti
1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
To taste   salt and pepper


  1. Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to medium before adding garlic, carrots, celery, and onions. 
  2. Stir in water and Hunt's Pork and Beans, then bring to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat to a simmer, then add the pasta. Cook for 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  4. Season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Divide among warm soup bowls and serve immediately.
