For the meatballs:
2 tsp minced garlic
½ pc white onion, finely chopped
150 g ground beef
¼ cup button mushrooms
1 tsp Tomato Paste
1 can Hunt's Pork & Beans 230g, drained
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp liquid seasoning
1 pc egg, slightly beaten
½ cup Japanese breadcrumbs or any breadcrumbs
    salt & pepper
For searing:
½ cup flour
3 Tbsp cooking oil
For the sauce:
2 Tbsp butter
½ pc onion, finely chopped
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 pack Hunt's Basil and Cheese Spaghetti Sauce 250g
¼ cup chicken stock
    salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp grated cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese


  1. Mix all ingredients together. Form into meatballs, and put in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes or until set.
  2. Dredge meatballs in flour, then sear in a hot pan with oil. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and saute onion and garlic. Add Hunt's Basil and Cheese Spaghetti Sauce and chicken stock. 
  4. Add meatballs, then simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve with rice or pasta with cheese on top.
